Feine Frieda - Very sadly she died from a major bout of colic in October 2015. She is very sadly missed. She was a Hauptstutbuch (pink papered) Oldenburger registered, Hauptstutbuch Hanoverian and Select Studbook WBS (UK). She was an outstanding mare with a flawless temperament, great conformation and true ‘Blue Blood’. She had 4 generations of Germanys best stallions. She is by Furst Heinrich (Florestan I) out of a Rohdiamant mare (Rubinstein I), with Brentano II and then Weltmeyer. It is very hard to find a better collection of stallions in any pedigree. On the dam line she traces back to the tap-route mare Noprara. Noprara delivered the stallions Riccione (By Regazzoni), Laurent (By Lauries Crusador xx) and the mare Wonderful (By Weltmeyer) Interestingly Noprara is also the tap-route mare of our St Pr mare Sanay also with Wonderful on her dam line. Frieda is one of the stud’s foundation mares and will only be put to stallions that justify her breeding. In addition to Feine Frieda’s Hauptstutbuch German grading, she was graded in the UK in August 2010 at the British Warm-blood Breeders Studbook show at Hartpury where she was one of very few mares to be chosen for the Select Studbook (equivalent of State Premium) and one of only 3 mares to be awarded a gold medal. This is a wonderful achievement and recognition of what a super mare she was. Breeding programme: Feine Frieda bred a fantastic colt foal by Serano Gold in 2007 then another by Diamond Hit in 2008. She then had a year off in 2009. She then produced a lovely black colt foal by Sandro Hit (Seagry Sanllouis) in 2011, and a charming filly also by Sandro Hit (Seagry Safira) in 2012. and Seagry Franchesca by Don Frederic in 2013. She was given a year off in 2014 and produced her last foal in 2015 by the stunning young Totilas stallion, Tolegro. A stunning colt named Tommy Seagry.
