'Saucy' is a Hanoverian Elite/State Premium mare by the stunning stallion Stedinger and out of the State Premium mare Winora. She is a truly world class mare with 3 outstanding paces. She successfully completed her mare performance test with a test rider score of 9. At the German Hanoverian Riding horse Championship, she scored 9 for her trot (The same score recorded by her dam Winora in her performance test) and a 9 for her canter. She was a sensation at the 127th Hanoverian Elite auctions in Verden where she was the second highest priced Dressage horse. She contested her first FEI International CDI at the Bolesworth International. She came a very close 7th with 68% in the PSG representing GB. She also completed her first Inter 2 at the Wellington Premier League in 2018.
As a young horse in 2014 she was placed 3rd in the British National Young Horse Championships at Hickstead in a class filled with the best 6 year old horses in Britain. As a 4 year old in Germany she won two Young Dressage Horse classes in this hugely competitive market. During 2013 she focused on the Young Horse Championships. In March 2013, representing GB, she came 3rd in the Final of the CDI Young Horse Championships at Vidauban (France) and in the UK she qualified for all 5 Young Horse championships. She topped the 16 strong field at Wellington Premier League by winning the Shearwater Potential International qualifier. She also won the Badminton Young Horse qualifier with 81.67% a full 6% ahead of second place from a field of 17 entries. She also won both Hickstead young dressage horse qualifiers at Hartpury with 79.6% in the international and 83.2% in the National with super scores of 8.8 for her "Stunning trot", 8.0 for her walk and 8.5 for her Way of Going and the same for General Impression. To top things off she won the only Pavo Cup qualifier in the UK for 5 year olds with 77%. The British Senior Selectors nominated her to represent GB in the WORLD BREEDING CHAMPIONSHIPS in Verden. We reluctantly declined the nomination as we wish her to focus on the British Championships and felt that this major competition at this time in her career was not in her best interest. Saucy is the 2016 double Regional Champion at AM Open and Freestyle and is the only horse in the UK to have qualified for the 2016 National Championships in 4 different classes.
In the bloodline of 'Saucy' there is a line of world class stallions including Sandro Hit, Wlokentanz, Weltmeyer, Hohenstein and Bloero the foundation stallion of the 'B' line. On the dam line it traces back to the tap-route mare Noprara. Noprara delivered the stallions Riccione (By Regazzoni), Laurent (By Lauries Crusador xx) and the mare Wonderful (By Weltmeyer) Interestingly Noprara is the tap-route mare of Feine Frieda (One of our foundation mares) also with Wonderful on her dam line.
